Kimberly Leitch, LCSW-R
Kimberly Leitch is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-R) with the NYS Office of Mental Health for over 20 years. Currently, she is a Governor-appointed Deputy Director 2, Psychiatric Center for Quality Management at New York State Psychiatric Institute. She has been the Deputy Director there for over 5 years. Previously, she was at Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center, also with OMH, for 15 years. In that time, she held various roles such as Deputy Director 1, Quality Management, Director of Risk Management, Team Leader, Director of Social Work, Director of Education and Training and Forensic Social Worker. In those roles, she worked with CPL 730, 330 and Part 57 patients and sat on Hospital Forensic Committees for competency and NGRI. She also owns a psychotherapy private practice working with individuals coping with anxiety and depression. She has also been with Talkspace for over 7 years as a psychotherapist and as a member of their media PR team contributing to articles, podcasts, blogs, etc. She received an M.S.W. degree from Fordham University at Lincoln Center with a clinical concentration in law/forensics. She also received a second masters in criminal justice from Kaplan University and received a B.A. degree in psychology from Saint Joseph’s University.
